Pulp: The Leadmill (venue)

The Leadmill is a well-known live music venue and nightclub located on Leadmill Road at the edge of Sheffield city centre. It began in 1980 in response to the lack of cultural facilities in Sheffield. It was then a derelict industrial property and operated along the lines of a co-operative providing facilities for the local community. It was a venue for theatre and educational projects, in addition to live music. Over time its community role declined and by the early 90s it was well on the way to becoming the large commercial operation it is today.

Pulp have played at The Leadmill at least 18 times, which is probably often than for other venue.
